|
Originally
established in Springfield, Missouri in 1964 by Thomas
E. Wirt. Since this time Wirt Construction has built
many of the major commercial buildings in and around the
Springfield area. These projects include all types and
sizes of buildings including: Churches and Fellowship
Halls, Hospitals and Medical Office Buildings,
Warehouses, Waste Water Treatment Plants, University
Educational Facilities and Dormitories and Banks. If it
can be designed, Wirt Construction can build it.

|
|
Management
has always felt that a "Hands On" approach is
the only way a construction project, of any size, can be
properly accomplished. For this reason the greatest
majority of our projects since establishment have been
within a 50-mile radius of the Springfield metro area.
We feel management must walk the jobsite many times a
week in the effort to resolve possible problems before
they can slowly progress. The principles of the Company
are found everyday working on the job site. |
|
|
Over the
past 15 years, most of our work has been on a negotiated
basis utilizing the Guaranteed
Maximum Price method. By the GMP method of project
delivery, Wirt Construction is involved with the project
from conception to completion. We are able to assist the
owner in the development of design criteria and budgets
from preliminary design development drawings to the
final construction documents. Where by effectively
eliminating cost overruns. |
